A credit card terminal and attached Pin Pad like the popular Hypercom T7 Plus and P1300or the Nurit 2085 and Verifone 1000SE can process any EBT card as well as any credit, debit card or customer check. Users simply swipe their EBT card and enter in their secure PIN. A printed transaction receipt with the dollar value remaining on the card is then handed back to the customer. For the merchant, account management is easy. EBT transaction data can be accessed and reconciled right along side credit card transaction data at the Infinity Data Reporting Center.
